About the role
Home Helpers is a home care agency based in Allendale, NJ, and we're looking for compassionate, certified CHHAs to join our growing team. Whether you're looking for part-time flexibility or a steady full-time schedule, we have shifts that work for you days, evenings, overnights, weekdays, and weekends.
This is non-medical home care. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their own homes, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently.
What you'll do
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Provide companionship, socialization, and emotional support
Offer medication reminders and help maintain daily routines
Perform light housekeeping
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings
What we're looking for
Active, valid NJ CHHA certification (required)
A warm, patient, and dependable caregiver
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
Comfortable working independently in a client's home
Ability to pass a background check
