About Us:

I-505 Truck Repairs is currently looking to hire a Diesel mechanic to join our team.
Our fleet is all late model Peterbilts with Cummins engines and Eaton Fuller transmissions, Bendix and Wabco disc brakes. All applicants MUST have their own tools! The shop will supply all specialty tools, including Insite, Davie, Wabco toolbox, and many more. Applicants must be prompt, able to communicate, work well in a team environment, be self-motivating, as well as have the ability to accept and take direction.
About You:
  • Must have experience with electrical diagnostics, braking systems, air systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, rear-ends/drive trains, brakes, and A/C systems.
  • Must be Computer literate.
  • Perform diesel servicing and CA DOT BIT inspections. Welding a plus.

Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 100lbs, using hands to manipulate tools, standing, walking for extended periods of time, crawling under equipment and on back, working outside, and steam cleaning equipment.
