Assistant Front Office Manager - Isla Bella Beach Resort
Job Summary
Isla Bella Beach Resort, a luxury oceanfront resort in the Florida Keys, is seeking a service-driven and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to support our Front Office operations.
This role assists in leading the Front Desk team, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced resort environment and is passionate about delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
  • Support daily Front Desk and Front Office operations to ensure service standards are consistently met
  • Supervise, coach, and support Front Desk Agents and Night Auditors
  • Provide hands-on leadership during shifts and act as Manager on Duty when assigned
  • Greet, check-in, and check-out guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery with urgency and professionalism
  • Assist with scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance coaching of team members
  • Monitor guest interactions and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and engagement
  • Maintain knowledge of resort services, amenities, promotions, and in-house groups
  • Assist with room assignments, reservations, and special requests
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling, safety, and operational procedures
  • Review daily reports, logs, and communications to ensure follow-up and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Front Desk environment
  • Support team members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of Front Desk experience in a hotel or resort environment
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong guest service, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with hotel property management systems preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
