Chapman Hyundai Phoenix is seeking a motivated Express Technician to join our Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level automotive professional who is eager to develop their skills, learn from experienced technicians, and build a long-term career in the automotive industry. In this role, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections while delivering quality workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations
  • Complete minor services such as replacing filters, wiper blades, and batteries
  • Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and document vehicle condition and recommended services
  • Communicate inspection findings clearly for Service Advisors to relay to customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer standards for all maintenance and repair procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Experience performing routine automotive maintenance or completion of an automotive training program preferred
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities
  • Must bring your own tools and toolbox
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
