Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive strength-based assessments and formulate personalized therapy plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote resilience, effective coping strategies, and skill-building among clients.
• Develop tailored crisis management, safety, and wellness plans to empower clients during challenging times and ensure their psychological safety.
• Utilize telehealth technologies and digital platforms to provide therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, contributing to seamless patient care and organizational accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will serve a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a spectrum of mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma. You will be instrumental in developing strategies that foster hope, healing, and overall mental wellness, positioning your clients for long-term success in their personal and familial trajectories.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is mandatory.
• A current and valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in Virginia is required to provide therapeutic services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessing client needs and delivering tailored interventions that promote meaningful change.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or therapy, ideally in a community health setting.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems is strongly preferred, enhancing workflow efficiency and patient engagement.
• Exposure to various treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits
