In Saint Mary's Hospital, our Behavioral Health Team brings a compassionate approach to meet the unique needs of our patients and their families. We treat various behavioral health conditions with dignity and respect by creating stigma-free environments that foster inclusion and high-quality of care.

What will you do:

  • Nursing support for the patient and their families is a catalyst for change and empowerment towards recovery from behavioral health conditions

  • Nurses provide meaningful feedback that helps our multidisciplinary team tailor treatment goals to the individual needs of every person.

  • Educating and supporting patients and their families during the BH Admission

  • Nursing care is key for safety and patient satisfaction. You will lead patient observations, milieu management, and help communicate and address emergent needs of the people we treat.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred.

  • Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

  • Certification: BLS required.

  • Preferred:Behavioral/Psychiatric experience

Position Highlights

  • Part-Time - 24 hours -Days

  • Rotating Every other Weekend/Holiday

  • This is an hourly position, included in the RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95.
