Job description

New Era Therapeutic Counseling Center, LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Program Director to oversee the administrative operations of our behavioral health programs. This role will focus on program administration, intake processing, referral management, marketing oversight, community outreach, census growth, and administrative staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily administrative program operations
  • Manage intake, referral, and admissions workflows
  • Track pending referrals, missing documentation, eligibility status, and admissions
  • Coordinate administrative handoff to clinical leadership
  • Monitor program census, referral volume, and intake conversion
  • Oversee marketing, outreach, and community relationship development
  • Build relationships with hospitals, physicians, schools, agencies, and other referral sources
  • Support program growth and expansion initiatives
  • Supervise assigned intake, front-office, outreach, and administrative staff
  • Collaborate with Clinical, Compliance, Billing, HR, and Executive Leadership
  • Prepare operational reports and identify workflow improvements
  • Ensure administrative processes remain organized, timely, and compliant
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Marketing, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, healthcare, human services, program management, intake, operations, or community outreach preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Medicaid, managed care, behavioral health, or healthcare admissions is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
