Behavioral Health Allies Early Intervention (BHA EI) Job
Behavioral Health Allies Early Intervention (BHA EI) is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct therapeutic support to young children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities. In this role, you will deliver individualized, play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that promote communication, social-emotional development, adaptive skills, independence, emotional regulation, and school readiness. RBTs work closely with children, families, and clinical supervisors to create structured, engaging, and supportive environments that encourage meaningful progress during a child's most important developmental years.
Provide direct ABA therapy to children in clinic, home, school, and community-based settings under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA.
Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans with consistency and accuracy.
Support communication, social skills, adaptive functioning, emotional regulation, and school readiness goals.
Use play-based and developmentally appropriate strategies to engage children in learning.
Collect and document accurate session data, daily notes, and treatment progress.
Maintain a structured, organized, and safe therapeutic environment.
Support children during transitions and moments of behavioral escalation using evidence-based intervention strategies.
Collaborate with families and clinical teams to promote consistency and carryover across settings.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, required trainings, and professional development.
Assist with therapy materials, clinic organization, and other assigned Early Intervention initiatives.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and person-centered care in every interaction.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or coursework in psychology, education, behavior analysis, child development, or related field preferred
Minimum 6 months of experience working with children preferred
Experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs preferred
Experience in early intervention, clinic, school, or pediatric settings preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
Strong observation and data collection skills
Positive attitude and openness to coaching and feedback
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems

$1,000 total sign-on bonus -- $500 paid after 90 days of employment. Additional $500 paid after 180 days, based on continued employment in good standing
The starting rate for this position begins at $18.75 per hour, with your final offer based on a combination of your education, relevant experience, and overall qualifications (for certified RBTs).

We've got you covered! We pay for the RBT course, which must be completed before your first day, and we provide exam prep support. While preparing for the exam, you'll start at a lower training rate. Once certified, your pay increases to the RBT rate.
