What You Will Be Doing:
• Required to paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of our building.
• Engages in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, snow removal, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves, and refuse.
• Performs the general cleaning and upkeep of the bakery, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, plumbing and washing windows.
• Assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
• Adheres to company policies and safety regulations.
• Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Other duties as assigned
What We Need From You:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• This position requires 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience and a mechanical aptitude
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with ability to improve and promote quality and safety
• Must demonstrate excellent trouble shooting skills
