Job description

We are looking for playful, high-energy Behavior Technicians seeking full-time employment. You must have a passion for helping kids learn and have fun! If this describes you and you are looking for an ABA company that makes you love coming to work each day, please apply!
We at Integrated Autism Center strive to provide quality of life along with the most effective forms of ABA in our practice. Our philosophy is centered around compassionate ABA with a focus on Natural Environment learning. We focus on developmental milestones and learning repertoires. The behavioral technician will provide clinical skills instructions and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of applied behavioral analysis to children with autism and related developmental disabilities in the center\in-home setting. The behavioral technician will collect data on programs and assist the behavior analyst, lead behavioral technician, and ABA interns with clinical assessments as needed. This job description describes essential job functions but does not provide an exhaustive list of duties that may be assigned. Specific duties and responsibilities will vary depending on classification.

Integrated Autism Center gives hands-on training to our Behavior Technicians. We will also pay for your 40-hour certification course to become a Registered Behavior Technician.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • In Center Monday - Friday 7:45 am-4:30 pm.
  • Client material creation and preparation.
  • Directly Implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA.
  • Incorporate sensory activities into the session (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games).
  • Record client data into the Central Reach program.
  • Convert appointments into billing within 24 hrs.
  • Write detailed SOAP notes.
  • Attend weekly team meetings with BCBA.
  • Attend monthly performance goal meetings with the CEO.
  • Attend Quarterly in-service training and team bonding activities.
  • Cleaning duties.
  • In-home therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active.

  • Provide high-quality care to our clients.
  • Abide by all ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB.
  • Maintain client privacy by HIPAA laws.
  • Maintain the clinic's reputation for an organized, team environment.
  • Behave professionally with all staff members, clients, and caregivers.
  • Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback, and develop knowledge, and skill sets accordingly.
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements
