About the Role:
Discovery Point - Seven Hills in Spring Hill, FL is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young children during their most formative years. If you love creating a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment for little ones, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddler-aged children
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
  • Maintain accurate developmental records, daily logs, and attendance documentation
  • Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, ECE degree, or coursework preferred
  • Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for toddler-age children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
  • Ability to pass a background screening and meet state childcare licensing requirements
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Patient, energetic, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development
