Job Title:Adjunct Teaching - French & Italian Dept - Haitian Creole (Evening School)

Position Start Date:September 2, 2026

Required Degree:MA, or equivalent.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

• Proven knowledge of language pedagogy.

• Superior-level proficiency in Haitian Creole (ACTFL rating) or native speaker required.

• Demonstrated experience teaching university courses in Haitian Creole preferred.

• Curriculum development experience preferred.

Duties/Expectations:

• Teach and advise students in beginner, intermediate, and advanced level Haitian Creole.

• Use department-approved curriculum to guide instruction in conversation, reading, and writing.

• Support students in developing real-world language applications.

• Adjunct instructors are expected to attend monthly training meetings collaborate with faculty to maintain consistency in instruction and assessment.

• Additional responsibilities may include mentoring students in professional writing and speaking.
