Job description

Stein Distributing Company, Inc. is a beverage wholesaler of beer, specialty malt beverages and specialty wine products in Boise Idaho. We service an area that covers over 30.000 square miles in 10.5 counties with a population of over 700,000 people. With our commitment to excellence, our company supports our community in Boise.

  1. OBJECTIVE / GENERAL DESCRIPTION

To follow the specific guidelines developed by Stein Distributing concerning the warehouse orders, picking process, verifying process and loading process for safe and effective delivery of all Stein Distributing products. When picking there will be a 4 cent per case picked incentive added to each payroll.

I.     PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Build orders using a pallet jack or forklift with VIP voice pick system.
  • Verify pallets using Easy Ops.
  • Wrap pallets with plastic shrink wrap.
  • load pallets and kegs into correct staging area.
  • load product and kegs into assigned trailers.
  • Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to safely lift 125 lbs.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to be certified on forklift/electric pallet jack.
  • Picking orders for next day delivery using computer voice picking system

Flexibility for a work week of Monday - Friday plus OT

    II.       SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Other Duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Age of 18
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Must be able to lift 30 + pounds routinely and up to 160 pounds
  • Prefer forklift operation experience (on-site training provided)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Clean appearance
