Featuring a seasonal patio that overlooks the Cuyahoga River, the River Merchant is Kent's premier riverfront restaurant. We are located at 911 North Mantua Street in Kent, OH; our hours of operation are: 5 PM–9:30 PM (Mon), 11 AM–9:30 PM (Tue–Thu and Sun) and 11 AM–10:30 PM (Fri–Sat).

We are seeking a talented and experienced Bartender who is career oriented, with a craft cocktail and wine background. Our ideal candidate has solid communication skills, a desire for professional growth and the skills to contribute to mutual goals across the restaurant, and elevate our clientele’s dining experience.

Summary of job posting:

  • Experienced Craft Bartender that has exceptional table service
  • 30-40 Hours a Week + Sunday Availability - Absolutely Necessary

 Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a bartender / server (2+ Years)
  • Craft Cocktail Knowledge / Experience
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Ability to memorize menus+ recipes
