TAPROOM SERVER, ALTERNATE ENDING BEER CO.Job Responsibilities:Serve as a beer guide/ambassador for our guests, providing a unique experience and education for those who are new to craft beerGreet guests and explain our beer and food menu, assist with selections, and take orders in a positive and friendly mannerAttend to guests before, during, and after their meals/drinksAssist with any to-go orders, beer and merch at the end of each mealServe as an information hub for guests on all things related to the brewery/taproom (info on upcoming events, beers, food, specials, etc)Assist the FOH team with side work as needed, including folding linens, to-go packaging, cleaning of taproom, and other service prep/clean-upQualifications:Flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, and foodKnowledge of POS systems and basic computer skillsWorking knowledge of craft beer stylesCertificates/Licenses: Alcohol Awareness Training (T.I.P.S. Certification), Cicerone Level 1 certification recommendedMeets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beveragesAble to tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently during busy timesExhibits an excellent service attitude and be willing to go out of their way to accommodate the guests and exceed their expectationsShows enthusiasm for the job and for Alternate EndingIs considerate, patient and willing to help out fellow employeesIs courteous, has a friendly personality and professional appearance.Exhibits strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Is observant and thorough, responsible and punctual.Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 25-50lbsFrequently stands, walks, talks and hears; uses hands, reaches with hands and arms; occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, taste or smellsEnvironment/Noise: Occasionally works in extreme heat, wet or humid conditions. Noise level is moderateOccasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
