General Distributing Company (Budweiser)- Delivery Driver for our local Bars and Restaurants

Utah's premier beverage distributor for Anheuser-Busch, craft beer, and non-alcoholic products.

We are looking for energetic, self-motivated and reliable individuals to be part of our team. This position is a full-time position that provides excellent benefits and opportunity for growth. General Distributing Company is proud to have a promote from within environment. An individual with a Utah Class A CDL is preferred but not required. We offer an excellent Commercial Driver's License program. Our in-house Class A CDL training program usually takes 6 weeks.

* Delivery Trainee without a CDL Training Salary $40,000-$47,000

* Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL Salary and Bonus $57,000-$60,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver products to our retail customers
  • To drive safely and obey all traffic laws while on the road
  • To perform all required pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the route truck
  • To keep all products rotated to Anheuser-Busch standards
  • To keep a good image by maintaining a clean delivery vehicle and a professional appearance while working in the retail trade
  • To keep a clean and neat area where products are stored
  • To maintain an open and consistent line of communication with all salesmen and supervisors
  • To keep and maintain a good relationship with our retail customers
  • To learn and know basic draft beer functions, tapping kegs, air supply, pressures etc...
  • To fill and rotate all shelf space during deliveries
  • To comply with all company policies

Qualifications:

He or She must be 21 years old and will obtain or maintain a current Utah Class A Commercial Driver License and carry a Medical Examiner’s Certificate. Training is available in order to obtain a current Utah Class A Commercial Driver License. Must have a history of being responsible, have a good work ethic and have good communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 168 pounds (largest product weight, half barrel).
