Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate. The team members of Frank Beverage Group are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers.
The Warehouse Associate - Liquor Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking, building, and staging liquor customer orders for delivery. This role ensures product accuracy, quality, and proper handling while supporting efficient order fulfillment. The position may also assist with replenishment, staging, loading, and other warehouse operations as needed to support daily workflow and business demands.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Pick, build, stage, and verify liquor customer orders accurately and efficiently according to route, customer, and delivery requirements
2. Verify product accuracy, condition, and proper rotation during the picking process
3. Stage completed liquor orders for loading and delivery
4. Replenish liquor pick locations as needed to maintain product availability
5. Assist with staging and loading liquor orders onto delivery trucks as needed
6. Identify, remove, and report damaged, leaking, out-of-date, or spoiled product during picking and replenishment
7. Assist with beer picking operations as needed
8. Handle broken or leaking product immediately by safely removing it from the work area, removing empty pallets, breakage, and shrink wrap from pick and backstock locations while picking and replenishing, cleaning up spills, washing and wiping down affected surfaces, disposing of damaged product properly, completing required documentation and inventory adjustments as needed, and performing additional cleaning at the end of the shift to maintain a clean and safe working environment
9. Operate warehouse equipment and technology (WMS, scanners, tablets, voice picking) as required
10. Operate specialized powered industrial equipment when assigned, based on training and certification
11. Complete required daily forklift, powered industrial truck, and power equipment inspection logs
12. Participate in inventory control activities including cycle counts, location verification, product moves, and assisting with inventory adjustments as assigned
13. Follow all safety procedures and company policies
14. Other duties as assigned, which may include roles and responsibilities from all other warehouse departments as needed
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
2. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse and office staff.
4. Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
5. Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
2. Previous warehouse picking experience preferred.
3. Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
