What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Beacon, and why are they important?

I'm sorry, but 'Beacon' is not recognized as a real-world professional occupation, so I cannot provide relevant skills and qualifications for this job title.

What are Beacons and what do they do?

Beacons are small wireless devices that use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to transmit signals to nearby smart devices, like smartphones and tablets. They are commonly used to send location-based information, trigger notifications, or interact with apps when users are in close proximity. Businesses often use beacons for purposes such as indoor navigation, targeted marketing, and asset tracking. Beacons themselves do not collect data; instead, they broadcast a unique identifier that can be picked up by compatible devices and apps. This technology is widely used in retail, museums, airports, and other public spaces to enhance user experience.
