Summary: The primary objective of the Beach Attendant is to Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreation facility. May schedule use of recreation facilities, maintain and provide equipment to participants of sporting events or recreational pursuits, or operate amusement concessions and rides.
Responsibilities:
  • Always waits on customers in a pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Answers radio; operates cash register and credit card machine.
  • Collects payment for water park.
  • Checks in retail orders.
  • Maintains clean, organized, attractive counters, displays, and beach areas.
  • Fills out rental contracts.
  • Empties all trash receptacles and keeps beach gate and surrounding area free of trash and hazards.
  • Sizes life jackets and distributes to guests; checks wrist bands.
  • Ensures safety measures are adhered to, including appropriate height of guests.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Strong customer service skills; enjoys working in an environment of extensive public contact.
  • Basic manual labor abilities, including an ability and willingness to clean and sanitize facilities with a variety of cleaning agents.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic computer skills; basic math aptitude, and ability to count back change manually.
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Knowledgeable about park features, rules amp; regulations
  • Experience with POS or equivalent retail system preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to multitask.
  • The ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • RV/trailer/rig or manufactured converted van may be required. Must be full contained
