Job description

Full-Time Teacher of Social Studies
Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology - Westampton Campus

Position Summary:
Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) is seeking a qualified and dedicated Teacher of Social Studies to join our instructional team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Teaching Certificate and demonstrate strong content knowledge, effective instructional practices, and the ability to foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid NJDOE Instructional Teaching Certificate (required)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Social Studies content and curriculum
  • Proven ability to implement effective teaching strategies
  • Ability to maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with staff and support diverse student populations

Salary & Benefits

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the annual salary range for this position is: $65,737 $81,313 

This position may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, a retirement plan and benefits for work life balance.
