Clinical Director BCBA

Location: Richmond, VA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Candidate must be based in or near Richmond, VA)

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 Annually

Job Summary:

A growing ABA organization is dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children and families throughout Virginia. As a Clinical Director BCBA, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing clinical operations, supporting staff development, ensuring quality service delivery, and helping drive the continued growth of the organization. This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic leader with a passion for ABA, strong clinical expertise, and proven leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical oversight and direction to a team of BCBAs and RBTs, ensuring high-quality ABA services are delivered in accordance with best practices and organizational standards.

Treatment Development: Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based ABA methodologies and data-driven decision making.

Client Advocacy: Work closely with families and caregivers to understand their unique needs and goals, ensuring individualized and effective treatment programming.

Staff Development: Mentor, supervise, and support BCBAs and RBTs while promoting professional growth, clinical excellence, and adherence to industry standards.

Program Evaluation: Conduct ongoing program reviews, monitor client outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement quality assurance initiatives.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with BACB standards, Medicaid requirements, payer regulations, state licensing requirements, and organizational policies.

Partnership Building: Foster strong relationships with community partners, referral sources, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to support organizational growth and service expansion.

Leadership & Operations: Support clinical operations, staff retention efforts, and organizational initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on client outcomes and service quality.

Requirements:

Education: BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification required.

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of ABA experience with strong clinical leadership experience preferred. Experience supervising BCBAs and RBTs is highly desired.

License/Certification: Active BCBA certification and ability to obtain or maintain all required state licensure and credentials.

Medicaid Experience: Experience working with Medicaid-funded ABA programs and diverse client populations.

Communication: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, staff, and community stakeholders.

Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience interpreting clinical data and making informed treatment decisions.
