Description:ย 

Our pulmonary/critical care team is seeking a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team to provide ICU coverage.ย ย The position offers the unique opportunity to work at the top of your license within a collaborative environment.ย ย It is an ideal position for practitioners seeking to supplement their income or explore advanced critical care practice growth.ย ย We offer a comprehensive transition to practice program, which includes hands-on clinical training as well as a one-year critical care didactic curriculum to foster professional growth and confidence in the ICU setting.ย  ย 

Responsibilities

Manage and follow up on ICU patients overnight.ย ย ย 

Respond to codes/emergenciesย 

Perform emergent procedures (central line & intubations).ย ย Training providedย 

Completeย appropriate documentationย and billing for patient encountersย 

Qualifications

ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC certificationย 

Active DEA licenseย ย 

Minimum 1 year inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospital setting preferred)ย ย

St. Francis offers competitive compensation that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs.ย  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages and other forms of compensation, is $900-$1,150.00 a day. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
