3 Radiologists for the Columbia VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC

THE SHORT: Need 3 BC Radiologists for the VA hospital in Columbia, SC | long-term full-time position with great pay | $420/hr. | any state license                                                                                                                                 
LOCATION: Columbia VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC 29209

DURATION / START DATE:

  • ASAP, depending on your availability and security/credentialing
  • 3-year contract, with options to extend
  • Note: The duration of the contract is between the government and us. Like any other job, if life means you must leave, you give us a 60-day notice.

COMPENSATION:

  • 1099 all-inclusive rate
  • $420/hr. for standard M-F hours. 1099, all inclusive
  • $35/hr. on-call (from home)
  • $420/hr. Call back
  • We cover Med Mal (claims made + tail)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Unrestricted state license (any state)
  • Board Certification
  • BLS, ACLS
  • Able to pass a background check as part of their security process

SCHEDULE AND COVERAGE:

  • Clinic Hours: M-F 8 AM – 4:30 PM
  • On Call Coverage:
    • M-F, 4:30 PM – 8 AM
    • Weekdays: Friday 4:30 PM-Monday 8:00 AM
  • On-call available by phone within 15 min and onsite within 60 min
  • On-call duties are shared between all federal and contract staff

SPECIALITIES NEEDED:

  • Abdominal / GU
  • Breast Imaging
  • Cardiovascular
  • General Radiology
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Musculoskeletal
  • Neuroradiology
  • Authorized User (AU) Radiology

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 95% time spent on clinical duties
  • Perform and interpret:
  • CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and IR procedures
  • Provide consultations to referring physicians
  • Review patient cases and consults daily
  • Communicate test results to providers and patients
  • Conduct post-procedure evaluations and follow-ups
  • Deliver discharge education and care coordination
