Job description

Opportunity Overview

Our organization is looking to recruit a full-time cardiac electrophysiologist to enhance our Heart and Vascular team, which currently includes 18 cardiologists, 2 electrophysiologists, and 5 advanced practice clinicians. As the largest multi-specialty group in the East Bay region of San Francisco, we are comprised of over 400 healthcare providers dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our communities. Our innovative Heart and Vascular program offers a wide range of services, from basic preventative and general cardiology to specialized treatments such as complex coronary interventions, structural heart and valvular procedures, electrophysiology, comprehensive cardiac imaging, advanced heart failure management, and clinical research across four hospitals and numerous outpatient clinics. Our cardiac electrophysiology program is comprehensive, performing both routine and advanced cardiac ablations, including pulse field ablation and epicardial procedures with and without mechanical support, as well as various CIED implants, lead extraction, and left atrial appendage occlusion. Additionally, we are involved in several clinical trials focusing on PFA, thermal and surgical hybrid atrial fibrillation ablation, VT ablation, and CIED diagnostics and implants. To support our rapid growth and commitment to our mission of prioritizing patients and people, we are in need of a full-time cardiac electrophysiologist.

Our Cardiac Electrophysiology laboratory is located at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, CA, which serves as the tertiary referral center for cardiac care in the East Bay region, featuring two EP laboratories and a hybrid OR suite.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted California Medical License
  • Active and unrestricted cardiac fluoroscopy license
  • Current DEA license

Salary Range

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD $537,722 to USD $625,261. This figure represents the base compensation for full-time clinicians (1.0 FTE) and does not include additional incentives or benefits. The base salary may be adjusted based on factors such as training, experience, community needs, and other relevant considerations.
