Deposit Services Specialist II

As a Deposit Service Specialist II in our Baytree Headquarters you'll play a vital role by handling advanced member inquiries and assist in resolving issues as they arise. In addition, you will take on compliance-based responsibilities, requiring a good understanding of regulations, processes, and statutes.

Deposit Services Specialist II Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of advanced member inquiries, review and analyze complex deposit accounts, providing resolutions in a timely and professional manner and proposing effective solutions.
  • Supports the daily operation of the Deposit Services department by executing assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency in order to maintain excellent service to members and Team Members.
  • Reviews and completes all Deceased Account requirements in a timely manner.
  • Tracks and reviews IRA and HSA activity and documentation for compliance, accuracy, and completion. Processes IRA deposits and distributions sent in through the mail in accordance with regulation.
  • Actively participate and contribute to departmental process improvement initiatives and the implementation of changes in procedures and documentation to maintain compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Seeks additional training and certification opportunities if needed, and completes all required training as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve intricate member concerns and provide in-depth solutions

Deposit Services Specialist II Requirements

  • 1-3 years financial operations or financial account servicing experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Deposit Services Specialist II Compensation

Starting Salary: $20.18 - $21.38/hour depending on experience.

Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for a 3% ONE SCCU Annual Bonus.
