Position Highlights:

Join a high-volume, multidisciplinary cancer program with a strong focus on thoracic malignancies. You will have the opportunity to shape a subspecialty practice within a well-resourced, academically integrated cancer program with the freedom to build clinical and research interests that align with your expertise and career goals.

  • Provide specialized care for patients with thoracic malignancies within a robust, multidisciplinary framework. Collaborate with surgery, pulmonary medicine, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology
  • Participate in tumor boards, care pathway development, and programmatic growth in thoracic and head & neck oncology - with the option to develop or contribute to a Head & Neck oncology niche if aligned with your interests
  • Access robust support from molecular diagnostics, interventional pulmonary, and radiation oncology, including advanced technologies
  • Opportunity to contribute to and lead clinical trials (investigator-initiated, cooperative group, and industry-sponsored)
  • Engage in teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students

Why Join the Baystate Regional Cancer Program?

  • Exceptional Practice Support: Each physician is supported by a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider, a practice nurse, and an administrative assistant; A structure designed to protect your time and optimize patient care.
  • Program Development: Lead or expand thoracic and head & neck oncology initiatives, including clinical pathways and subspecialty programs
  • Collaborative Environment: Join a team of 30+ oncology providers in a highly supportive and collegial setting
  • Manageable Structure: Separate oncology consult services, strong inpatient support, and customizable clinic schedules

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Clinical & Research Opportunities: Expand access to precision oncology and targeted therapies in lung and head & neck cancers. Participate in translational research and biomarker-driven trials. Collaborate across disciplines to enhance early detection, survivorship, and quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to innovation in multidisciplinary cancer care delivery models.
