Baylor Med Cart Nurse (RN or LPN) - Night Shift
Weekend Baylor Schedule | Night Shift
Work Baylor Hours - Receive Full-Time Pay + Full-Time Benefits
We are currently accepting applications for a Baylor Med Cart Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatrics.
This position is ideal for a dependable and compassionate nurse who enjoys working with residents and families and is looking for the flexibility of a weekend Baylor schedule. Baylor nurses work weekend hours while receiving pay equivalent to full-time hours and are eligible for full-time benefits.

Qualifications
  • Current Alabama RN or LPN License
  • Temporary PN License accepted, when applicable
  • Long-Term Care experience preferred
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
  • Dependable, organized, and committed to quality resident care
Essential Job Functions
  • Administer medications accurately and according to physician orders
  • Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation
  • Assess and monitor residents for changes in condition
  • Report changes in resident status to physicians, responsible parties, and appropriate team members
  • Order medications and coordinate with the pharmacy as needed
  • Supervise and support CNA staff during the shift
  • Perform wound care and treatments as ordered
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens
  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and standards of nursing care
  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care throughout the shift
