Job description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a highly motivated Scientist/Statistician to join our research team. The successful candidate will lead and support advanced statistical analyses of trial and large-scale administrative datasets, including Medicare and Medicaid claims, electronic medical records (EMR), and/or other health-related data sources (e.g., UDS, NHANES, AHRF etc.). This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in health services research, and a proven track record of scholarly publications.
The Biostatistician is a professional role that designs and implements complex statistical analyses, guides data collection processes, and collaborates closely with research teams on study design and methodology. This position requires a strong command of biostatistical techniques and the ability to make independent decisions on routine analytical issues.
