Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for CNAs - Certified Nursing Assistants and PCAs - Personal Care Assistants to care for our clients. We have opened a new office to cover the Richmond area and need compassionate caregivers to join our team. As a member, you will be valued, respected, and heard.

BAYADA offers CNAs:

  • Base Pay: $16 - $18 / hour depending on qualifications
  • Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
  • Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

Qualifications for CNA/PCA:

  • Minimum one year work experience
  • Certificate of at least 75 hours of Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA training
  • Current CNA license listed in good standing with the board
  • Current PCA Certificate from approved educational institution

Job Responsibilities for CNA:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Light housekeeping
  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Toileting
  • Nail care
  • Range of motion / exercises
  • Transfers /use of mechanical lifting devices
  • Oral feeding
  • Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
  • Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
  • Assisting with ambulation
  • Medication assistance
