Position Responsibilities

  • Install, service, diagnose, and repair commercial overhead doors, sectional doors, rolling steel doors, storage doors, gates, and operators
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, access-control, and safety-device issues
  • Repair and replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, panels, sections, operators, safety edges, photo eyes, and related components
  • Perform preventive maintenance and comprehensive safety inspections
  • Identify additional repairs and recommended upgrades that improve the customer’s safety, security, and system reliability
  • Clearly explain findings and repair recommendations to customers
  • Accurately document completed work, materials used, photographs, and additional repairs needed
  • Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, contractors, and office staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle and work area
  • Follow company procedures and all required safety standards

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous commercial overhead door and gate experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with rolling steel doors, sectional doors, gate operators, and commercial operators
  • Familiarity with LiftMaster and other leading operator manufacturers is a plus
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Welding and access-control experience is a plus
  • Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, power tools, and specialty equipment
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy-duty commercial door and gate components
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
  • Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the team
  • Availability for full-time work and occasional emergency service calls
