NOW HIRING MACHINE OPERATORS / PRODUCTION ASSOCIATES
Location: Wooster, OH
Pay: $22.55/hour
Shift Differential: +$0.50/hour for 3rd Shift
Training: Will be done on 1stshift and then will transfer to the designated shift.
Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Monday Friday
Overtime available as needed
Mancan is currently seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join a growing manufacturing team as Machine Operators /Battery Assemblers in Wooster, OH. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for! Candidates will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery while supporting battery assembly operations and ensuring quality production standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manufacturing machinery according to work orders and specifications
Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments as needed
Monitor machine performance and production output throughout runs
Conduct quality inspections and identify defects or inconsistencies
Remove and document defective materials properly
Assist maintenance with inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to lift medium to heavy materials as needed
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Experience:
1+ year of machine operation or manufacturing experience
Experience using hand and power tools
Familiarity with production or assembly environments
Tools & Equipment May Include:
Torque guns
Allen wrenches
Zip tie tools
Pliers
Hand scanners
Resistance probes
