Battery jacks are workers responsible for installing, removing, and maintaining batteries in equipment such as forklifts, industrial vehicles, or heavy machinery. They ensure batteries are properly charged, cleaned, and ready for use, often working in warehouses or distribution centers. Battery jacks may also inspect batteries for damage and handle safe disposal or replacement, helping to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires attention to safety protocols due to the hazardous materials involved.

To thrive as a Battery Jack, you need a solid understanding of battery handling, maintenance, and safety procedures, often gained through on-the-job training or vocational courses. Familiarity with battery testing equipment, hand tools, and safety gear is typically essential. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and effective communication are important soft skills for this role.
