Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a battery engineering technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Minitab) for Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and process capability assessments.
  • 2 years of experience with battery cyclers (e.g., Arbin, Maccor), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), and related analytical equipment.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience developing small form-factor cells for wearable devices, as well as high energy-density cells and high-power applications.
  • Deep expertise in advanced cell failure analysis, including electrochemical and analytical characterization at both the cell and material level.
  • Familiarity with consumer electronics New Product Introduction (NPI) workflows, international battery safety standards, and global regulatory/agency requirements.

  • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) build execution, oversee cell and pack-level testing at supplier sites and regional labs, and track testing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for core engineering and battery leadership teams.
