Job description

CADD Technician – Water Resources
Halff has an immediate opening for a certified Computer Aided Design Drafter (CADD) Technician in our Orlando, FL office to perform drafting, plan preparation and to work with design professionals with our Water Resources team.
Responsibilities:
  • Review project design documents prepared by engineering specialists and ensure redlines are incorporated into document drafts
  • Use CAD software to prepare and/or evaluate diagrams, elevations, and/or site configurations
  • Actively participate in implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to improve project quality
  • Support multiple projects when needed and help ensure timely completion of assignments
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of working experience in the Civil Engineering industry, Water Resources preferred, but not required
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
  • Experience in MicroStation OpenRoads is a plus
  • Drafting Certificate or Associates Drafting Degree, desired
  • New grads will be considered for this role
