Job description

Job Title: Operations & Programming Intern
Duration: September - November 2026
Location: Onsite with travel opportunities to camp locations
Hours: Part-Time/20 Hours Weekly (M-F)
Compensation: College credit for current undergraduate students, unpaid for recent college graduates
Position Overview
The Operations & Programming Intern will support the daily operations of a high-performance basketball training facility while contributing to programming, scheduling, and community engagement efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in sports facility management, youth programming, and client relations within an elite training environment. This is an onsite internship in Brooklyn, NY 11205.
Marketing & Community Outreach
  • Support community outreach initiatives to increase local engagement and program visibility.
  • Build relationships with parents and athletes during drop-off and pick-up times.
  • Promote upcoming leagues, clinics, and events to drive participation and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Operations & Management
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of a 15,000-square-foot elite basketball facility.
  • Utilize the Mindbody platform to manage camper check-ins, registrations, and real-time scheduling updates.
  • Coordinate transitions between summer camp sessions, private training sessions, and facility rentals.
  • Help maintain a professional, organized, and safe training environment.

Qualifications & Expectations
  • Basketball Knowledge: Foundational understanding of basketball training and youth sports culture.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; comfortable interacting with athletes, parents, and coaching staff.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends.
