Overview
The Marketing Assistant role will work with the Athletics Marketing Staff and will have the opportunity to receive hands-on experience in sports marketing, event planning, and game day fan experience.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00.
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open August 14, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Learn to create and execute email campaigns
  • Understand the process for developing and executing game promotions and plans
  • Student interest research & data collection
  • Assisting in the planning and promotion of Junior Ruckus and Ruckus programs
  • Assisting in the Fan Engagement Operations for Football, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball
  • Serving as the lead for select Olympic Sports

Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in a local university.
  • Availability to work a pre-determined number of hours per week
  • Organization and time management skills
  • General understanding of Microsoft Suite & Google Suite
  • Willingness to learn
  • Interest in sports (preferred but not required)
