Plant Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for the following:

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain aggregate processing equipment, including conveyors, screens, and crushers.
  • Diagnose and trouble shoot problems with aggregate processing equipment.
  • Complete routine electric work such as: replacing lights, fixtures, and outlets.
  • Perform welding cutting, grinding, drilling, and metal fabrication.
  • May be required to operate/move heavy equipment.
  • Maintain work areas and work vehicles in a safe, organized condition.
  

Requirements

  •  High School diploma or GED
  • Certification in welding, industrial maintenance, ripping, or crane operation  are a plus.
  • Experience with heavy equipment a plus.
  • Experience with power operated tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and forklifts.
  • Comfortable with repetitive fine motor control to operate tools.
  • Drug Screen and Background Check Required.
  • Willing to work in outdoor weather conditions.
