They are responsible for operating X-ray equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring that high-quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes. Basic Xray Machine Operators typically work in clinics, urgent care centers, or physician offices. Their scope of practice is generally limited to basic radiographic procedures, and they must follow safety protocols to protect patients and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure.
