What You’ll Do

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently:

  • Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Set up equipment for production runs (load materials, adjust settings, verify readiness)
  • Perform start-up, shut-down, and changeovers based on production needs
  • Conduct quality inspections using calipers, gauges, and measurement tools
  • Ensure products meet specifications and report any defects promptly
  • Make minor adjustments and troubleshoot basic machine issues (jams, alignment, etc.)
  • Maintain production records including counts, run times, and inspections
  • Assist with material handling and keeping the production line moving
  • Work closely with your team to meet daily production goals
