Position Overview:

We are urgently hiring an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Operator to join our precision machining team. This role is ideal for someone with experience operating Swiss-style CNC lathes and producing high-quality machined components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


If you have experience as a Swiss Machine Operator, CNC Lathe Operator, Machinist, Equipment Operator, or have worked in a precision machining or warehouse/manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate Swiss-style CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
  • Utilize Fanuc, Haas, and Okuma CNC controls to perform machining operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Set up and run jobs from established programs and print drawings.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to verify specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments as needed.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
  • Meet daily production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating Swiss CNC machines strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Swiss Machine Operator, CNC Lathe Operator, Machine Operator, Equipment Operator, or similar manufacturing role.
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Okuma controls preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor machining issues and make basic machine adjustments.
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.

Physical Demands:

  • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
  • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
  • Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
