Systems Engineer III – Linux Administrator

Location: Kirkland, WA / San Diego, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to support enterprise Linux infrastructure, security remediation, patching, automation, and day-to-day OS engineering operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Linux Administration experience with Puppet, Bash, and Red Hat environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support enterprise Red Hat Linux (RHEL 8/9) environments.
  • Perform Linux security remediation, patching, hardening, and vulnerability management.
  • Support and maintain Puppet automation/configuration management.
  • Use Bash/Shell scripting for system administration and automation.
  • Troubleshoot Linux incidents, service issues, and infrastructure problems.
  • Support CIS compliance and security remediation activities.
  • Coordinate with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
  • Perform root cause analysis and support ongoing KTLO operations.
Required Experience
  • Strong Linux Administrator experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong familiarity with Puppet and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with Bash/Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with Red Hat / RHEL 8 & RHEL 9.
  • Experience with Linux patching, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
  • Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience.
