Job description

If you are driven to deliver exceptional fan experiences that are beyond anything possible elsewhere and interested in working alongside a team of innovators and enthusiastic over-achievers, you will enjoy working with us!
As Grand Slam Seller, there will be opportunities to participate in exciting events in the community to support the Atlanta Braves Foundation/Community Affairs team and engage with Front Office staff. You will serve as a key member of our game FUN & FUNDRAISING team. Fundraising incentives are given to high performing team members throughout the year!
Gameday Responsibilities:
  • Selling 50/50 Raffle tickets to fans throughout the ballpark and across The Battery Atlanta on Braves home games to raise funds for the Atlanta Braves Foundation
  • Join our team to help us reach our goal of $5M!
  • Customer service and sales at the various Atlanta Braves Foundation kiosk locations throughout the ballpark
  • Advocating for the Atlanta Braves Foundation, answering questions and providing fans with accurate information regarding the charitable arm for the Atlanta Braves
  • Accurately answering questions pertaining to baseball game/event
  • Anticipating needs and proactively helping when necessary
  • Problem solving in a timely and professional manner
  • Having a practicing knowledge of ballpark policies to ensure the safety of all guests and employees
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Customer service and sales experience a must
  • Enthusiastic, approachable and self-motivated
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to take and follow directions well
  • Must be eligible to work immediately and ideally available through the end of September
  • Open to alternative schedules for students
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6+ hours) and climb stairs
  • Must be able to report to work 1 ยฝ hours before each game and stay up to an hour after each game
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, etc.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for all games; this includes weather delays/extra innings
  • Work 85% of games after potential hire date
  • Must be 18 years or older
