Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Assist with the setup, operation, monitoring, and breakdown of livestream broadcasts using Hudl/BlueFrame Production Truck.
  • Provide play-by-play or color commentary for select Florida Poly Athletics broadcasts.
  • Prepare game notes, team information, player pronunciations, statistics, and storylines for broadcasts.
  • Enter, verify, and publish live statistics using Presto Stats for soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball.
  • Assist with SIDEARM Sports website management, including updating schedules, rosters, statistics, scores, recaps, records, and livestream links.
  • Create and publish game-day social media content, including Instagram Stories, live updates on X, score updates, milestones, and post-game content.
  • Create and update game-day, promotional, score, and milestone graphics using BoxOut Sports and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Write accurate and engaging game recaps using statistics, game notes, quotes, and relevant game information.
  • Assist with or conduct post-game interviews with student-athletes and coaches.
  • Support press box, scorer's table, and other game-day sports information operations.
  • Assist with organizing broadcast equipment, creative assets, statistics, photographs, and other athletics communications files.
  • Follow University and Florida Poly Athletics brand standards across all content and platforms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Florida Poly Athletics and Strategic Communications.
