Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support a company focused on delivering resilient, secure network operations for Department of Defense mission partners. This position is on-site at Scott AFB, IL or Hill AFB, UT . The Network Controller will provide 24/7 monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management across a global transport and IP network environment. This role directly supports mission-critical communications for warfighters and national defense operations worldwide Responsibilities for the Network Controller include: * Monitoring and troubleshooting network circuits using router commands, alarms, loops, and error analysis * Utilizing enterprise network monitoring tools to identify, track, resolve, and escalate network incidents * Supporting live global transport and IP network operations in a 24/7 environment * Creating, updating, and managing incident tickets using Remedy * Researching documentation and network data to resolve monitoring and performance issues Required Qualifications for the Network Controller include: * 3+ years of experience in network operations, fault management, alarm surveillance, or NOC environments * Experience with networking technologies including routers, switches, crypto devices, LAN/WAN, and transport systems (Cisco, Juniper, optical networking preferred) * Strong understanding of network topologies, routing, and performance management * High school diploma (additional directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of higher education) * Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required at start date * Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment
