Job Description

Responsible for the general maintenance and cleaning of the receiving barns. Performs maintenance of pipe and drape, staging, Truss Grid system, equipment, plumbing, and all other related systems and equipment in the arena. Performs set-up and tear-down of events. 

  • Clean shed rows and stalls thoroughly on a daily basis, prior to horses and livestock shipping in. 

  • Rake shed rows and stalls. 

  • Make receiving Arena and barn look presentable for all events. 

  • Hang gates, screw eyes, change light bulbs and other receiving Arena and barn maintenance. 

  • Perform maintenance on Stage risers to ensure safety. 

  • Perform maintenance on pipe and drape, chair risers and chairs. 

  • Change lighting as necessary in arena. 

  • Cleaning and organizing arena complete assets. 

  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors, sky tracks and boom lifts. 

  • Oversee connection of touring events to house electrical equipment. 

  • Assist with set-up and tear-down on any event. 

  • General cleanup of the floor and building 

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 

  • Must be able to walk, stand, lift, shovel, rake, reach, bend, and twist throughout shift. 

  • Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools. 

  • Must have strong communication skills. 

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
