What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will manage and supervise all Cylinder Prep and Cylinder Yard personnel, including evaluations, hiring, training, development, and discipline
  • Plan and adjust daily work assignments and schedules to meet priorities, capacity, and workforce availability while controlling overtime
  • Further, you will ensure a safe work environment and promptly address safety issues
  • Oversee production queues and monitors queue times for Cylinder Prep and Cylinder Yard SAP work centers
  • You will coordinate activities with other plants and branches as needed
  • Resolve Cylinder Prep and Cylinder Yard-related issues for internal and external customers
  • Ensure accurate SAP barcode scanning and compliance with package marking and DOT documentation requirements
  • Collect and analyzes operational data to drive continuous process improvements
  • Set improvement goals and maintains process controls, SOPs, inventory, and supplies

What makes you great
  • You have a high school diploma or GED - Bachelor's degree strongly is preferred
  • More than five (5+) years of experience in industrial gases operations is preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Windows
  • You have the ability to read, interpret, and apply government, international, DOT, and internal regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate teams, and manage conflict is required for this role
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
