A barber career can be financially rewarding and offers opportunities for creativity and client interaction. It typically requires completing a state licensing program and developing strong customer service skills, with employment often available in salons, barbershops, or as an independent practitioner.

Is being a barber a 9-5 job?

Being a barber often involves flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as many clients prefer after-work appointments. The typical workweek can vary from full-time to part-time, with some barbers working beyond traditional 9-5 hours.
