Job description

The Program Manager, Protective Services Finance & Operations serves as an individual contributor responsible for managing financial operations, and operational programs across Protective Services (PS). This role bridges day-to-day financial execution with the development of scalable operational playbooks that can be adopted by PS business units. This role requires financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
The ideal candidate thrives in a small, high-impact team, is energized by building order from complexity, and is comfortable operating as both a hands-on executor and a strategic thinker who identifies opportunities to centralize and standardize where the business sees value.
Key job responsibilities
Financial Operations
• Work with leadership to understand, track, and report on budget allocation and utilization across PS programs
• Monitor and analyze spending patterns (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and surface anomalies or optimization opportunities
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports on expenditure and budget availability
• Collaborate with corporate finance partners to ensure alignment with company financial processes
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and spending optimizations
• Support financial planning activities and operational expense forecasting
• Provide oversight and governance for distributed finance support activities across PS
Fleet & Asset Programs
• Support fleet management programs and policy development
• Track fleet-related expenses and metrics
• Navigate cross-functional approval processes and advocate for operational needs through influence and relationship building
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
Operational Rhythm & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Contribute to operational planning inputs (OP1/OP2)
• Support leadership meetings
• Serve as a cross-functional liaison between teams and PS business units
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort in recurring operational workflows

About the team
Global Standards and Services (GSS) centralizes business operations, governance frameworks, and performance standards across Protective Services (PS), enabling decentralized execution with consistent quality, data-driven insights, and operational excellence.
Our team is the operational backbone of PS: we handle the complexity so PS leaders can focus on protecting people and assets. We believe in starting small, demonstrating value, and scaling fast.
