Bar Manager - Beer Program Focus

Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time Bar Manager to lead and grow the beer side of our bar operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong beer knowledge, hands-on leadership skills, and a passion for creating a great guest experience. The Bar Manager will oversee beer service, inventory, team performance, and day-to-day bar operations while helping maintain high standards in quality, consistency, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily bar operations with a strong focus on beer service and beer program quality
  • Maintain deep knowledge of beer styles, brands, draft systems, pairings, and seasonal offerings
  • Train and support bartenders and bar staff on beer knowledge, service standards, and upselling
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, keg rotation, and product freshness
  • Help develop beer menus, specials, and promotions to drive sales
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance behind the bar
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management for bar staff
  • Communicate clearly with ownership, kitchen, and front-of-house team members
  • Help manage labor, bar costs, and waste control
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
