Position Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining and stocking bars in accordance with department procedures and standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

  • Receives, fills, and delivers stock orders/requisitions
  • Responsible for keeping bars stocked with supplies including liquor, beer and glassware
  • Cleans floors, equipment, countertops and shelves in assigned outlets

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists Bartender with maintaining garnishes, washing glassware and overall cleanliness of bars

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to follow written directions
  • Must be able to fill stock orders

Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of all legal beverage service guidelines and state liquor laws including proper identification, refusal of service and shutoff procedures
  • Basic knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and glassware
  • Thorough knowledge of ice handling procedures as well as health and sanitation guidelines
  • Working knowledge of the property and gaming floor

Training Requirements:

  • Outlet-specific standard operating procedures
  • SMART alcohol awareness

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
